Copper Crest Farm, located in the rolling rural countryside of Wythe County, in southwest Virginia, is the home of Pam Umberger - the Instructor, Trainer, and Clinician of Copper Crest Farm.  Pam has over thirty years of experience training horses and teaching riding and has enjoyed more than fifteen years of teaching carriage driving.

Pam offers classes and clinics to share her knowledge and is also available as a guest speaker.  Both private and group lessons are offered for youth and adults.  Copper Crest's Clinics are on an array of horse topics - whether it is to improve your training techniques, riding sidesaddle, or learning skills for both beginner and experienced drivers.  If you prefer more individual instruction or to have Pam work with you at your facility, Private Training Clinics can be directed to your specific goals and needs.  Pam also instructs clubs and organizations as a guest speaker.  Contact Pam to discuss your goals or your group needs.

Learn How to Train Your Horse

Private Training Clinics ~ Private Training Clinics are available to work with the partnership of the horse and the rider/driver.  Pam specializes in working with riders and their horses, building self-confidence with timid horsemen and horsewomen.  She will work and train your horse while you observe.  Pam will then help you use the same techniques with the horse, which you can then continue to use and build upon.  Improve how you and your horse work together.  Don't miss this opportunity to improve your horse training abilities!  Clinics can be one day or two days - your choice.  Bring your horse to Copper Crest Farm or invite Pam to your farm.

Guest Speaker ~ Pam is available as a Guest Speaker for clubs and organizations!  Many topics can be addressed such as:
Training Problems
Pre-Spring Conditioning of Horse and Rider
          ∙ Rehabilitating the Rude Horse

Contact Pam and arrange a clinic or a guest lecture!
